Prompt Engineer

About the role

As a Prompt Engineer at SecuryxAI you will specialize in designing, testing, and optimizing prompts that power our compliance AI features — ensuring that our LLM integrations produce accurate, consistent, and auditable outputs in a high-stakes compliance context.

What you’ll do

• Design and iterate on prompts for compliance analysis, gap detection, and answer generation
• Build prompt regression test suites to detect quality regressions across model versions
• Document prompt design decisions and expected output formats
• Evaluate new model capabilities and translate them into product feature opportunities
• Collaborate with AI engineers on structured output schemas and fallback strategies
• Develop few-shot examples and chain-of-thought patterns for complex compliance reasoning

What you’ll bring

• 2+ years of experience with LLM prompt engineering in a production context
• Strong analytical skills for designing evals and interpreting results
• Excellent written communication — you have strong opinions about precision and clarity
• Deep understanding of LLM behavior including temperature, tokens, and context limits

Nice to have

• Domain knowledge in GRC, security compliance, or legal/regulatory writing
• Experience with Claude, GPT-4, or other frontier models in enterprise settings
• Background in technical writing or information architecture
