AI Security Researcher
About the role
SecuryxAI is uniquely positioned at the intersection of AI and security compliance. As an AI Security Researcher you will define the threat models for AI systems that our platform helps customers assess — turning NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, and EU AI Act requirements into actionable controls and assessment questions.
What you’ll do
- Research and document AI security threats including prompt injection, data poisoning, model extraction, and adversarial attacks
- Map AI security threats to controls in public frameworks (SCF, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, EU AI Act)
- Author detailed control narratives and assessment questions for AI risk categories
- Partner with engineering to ensure SecuryxAI's own AI features meet the controls we sell
- Publish research insights as blog posts, white papers, and framework guidance
- Advise customers on AI risk assessment methodology during pilot engagements
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years in security research, threat intelligence, or AI safety research
- Deep understanding of machine learning attack surfaces and adversarial ML
- Strong writing skills — ability to translate complex threats into clear control language
- Familiarity with NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, or EU AI Act
Nice to have
- Published research on AI security or adversarial machine learning
- Background in penetration testing or red-teaming ML systems
- Hands-on experience with LLM prompt injection and jailbreaking research
