AI Engineer

About the role

SecuryxAI is building AI-native compliance automation. As an AI Engineer you will design and ship the AI features that power our questionnaire engine — including automatic question-to-control mapping, confidence scoring, evidence summarization, and gap analysis — using frontier language models.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement LLM-powered features for the SecuryxAI questionnaire engine
• Build the question-to-control matching pipeline with semantic similarity and confidence scoring
• Implement evidence summarization and gap analysis using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
• Own evals frameworks to measure accuracy, hallucination rate, and latency across model versions
• Build structured output pipelines with schema validation and fallback handling
• Partner with product to define the AI roadmap and communicate model limitations clearly

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years of software engineering with at least 1 year of production LLM/AI feature development
• Strong Python or TypeScript skills with experience calling LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.)
• Understanding of RAG architectures, vector embeddings, and semantic search
• Experience building and running automated evals for LLM outputs

Nice to have

• Domain expertise in security, compliance, or regulatory language
• Experience with structured output extraction and schema validation
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks (ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF)
